Hayuga Hinata is a member of Konoha's Hyuga clan. Hinata's lack of self-confidence in her skills — traits that caused her father to consider that she was not suited for her position. From observations of Naruto, Hinata finds courage and self confidence and thinks a person to love. She was the memeber of team 8. Her team mates were Kiba and Shino.
Hinata is the elder daughter of the Hyuga clan head, Hiashi, and as the first-born, was the heiress-apparent to the clan. However, she apparently lost this position to her younger sister Hayuga Hanabi, as Hinata was considered as a failure by his father because of her lack of confidence. When she was young she was kidnapped by a ninja from Hidden Village of Clouds, had actually been sent there to steal the Byakugan. Her father killed the kidnapper to save her, but Village of Cloud demanded compensation in the form of Hiashi's dead body because of having signed a peace agreement with the village. This ultimately resulted in the death of Hiashi's brother, Hizashi Hyuga, who sacrificed himself in order to protect his clan and village.
Because of her position as heiress, Hiashi had high expectations for Hinata and subjected her to hard training. However, Hinata's slow progress and lack of self confidence disheartened her father, ultimately he considered as her a lost. Instead, her father chose to develop Hinata's younger sister, who proved much more better than Hinata, making her the new heiress. By the time Hinata joined Team 8, Hiashi completely lost interest in Hinata, leaving her under care and protection to Kurenai.
Hinata's strained relationship with her father caused her to often spend her time alone, crying. Then she met Naruto Uzumaki that her thinking changed dramatically. Because Naruto was treated as an outcast by almost everyone in the village, Hinata found herself able to relate with his desire to be acknowledged and praised by him. She was amazed that despite Naruto having nothing, he never gave up in believing he could become great Hokage. Without knowing her, he didn't allowed kids to insult and degrade her. Since they beat him up and knocked him out. Surprised by how much Naruto wanted to help and believing that she too deserved to be acknowledged, Hinata was inspired by. Like Naruto,in the end she decided to try her best to become strong and never give up, so she could become acknowledged as well. She Also fell in love with Naruto.
